Mr. Somchai Taneerat received his LL.B. from Ramkhamhaeng University in 1988. He was an associate attorney with Siam Associates Law Office and Media of Medias PCL before joining FBLP in 2003. He is an extraordinary member of the Thai Bar Association and the Law Society of Thailand.
His areas of practice are litigation, commercial law, and real estate law, including:
Litigation in civil and criminal lawsuits;
Litigation in charges or offenses under the Laws on Cheque;
Litigation in civil lawsuits concerning a default or violation of Land Sale & Purchase Agreements;
Representing Asian Honda Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in civil lawsuit at the Central Taxation Court;
Representing Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in both civil and criminal lawsuits;
Representing Media of Medias PCL in both civil and criminal lawsuits;
Representing clients in registration of incorporation, trademarks, and copyrights;
Representing clients in labor, bankruptcy, and business rehabilitation cases; and
Representing Hong Kong-Shanghai Banking Corporation and Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation in claim for debt repayment against debtors under Credit Facility Agreements.
